Greater Daemon of Slaanesh

I painted this guy (gal?) a while back but for some reason I didn't post about it. I wouldn't say I enjoyed the painting process that much. Painting a large resin model has it's problems, mainly putting everything together in the end. I painted it almost the same way as I did with my Slaaneshi Daemon Prince. One more Daemon Prince left and then I will focus on Tzeentch. More pictures after the jump.

  1. Looks good!! Shame the sculpt really shows it's age.
The bright gold really works well as a spot colour against the pink.

  2. Really nice painting. Resin models have their own trouble painting but I think that in the end its somewhat easier than doing its metal counterpart. Great colors as well!

    1. Thank you for your kind word. In my mind I was mainly comparing it to the plastic Daemon Prince that I painted before, not to a metallic model. I guess that' even harder but I've never painted a metal MC before.

  5. Good, actually great as in painting, but bad as in it's not someone I'd want to see when I look out of my foxhole.
