So my friend Nick decided that he wanted to get a tattoo from the Vampire Counts army book. They are one of his favourite armies plus the artwork in that book is pretty amazing. Since getting a chick tattoo is always go, he went for Isabella Von Carstein. And who's better to give this tattoo than my lovely wife Leah. Kudos to both of them, Leah for doing a great job and Nick for finally admitting to what a big warhammer geek he is! Unfortunately I didn't manage to get any decent pictures (he was bleeding too much) but I hope you enjoy them anyway. Without further ado, here they are:
Very nice tattoo. It looks fresh and I think the red looks good in it. Your wife might consider adding some dark red into some of the shading if she hasn't already done so. You need to show off more of her work.
ReplyDeleteCool! Nice choice of art there too - it's one of the better pieces from the current book. He has taste, and your good lady has talent.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys! Yes it's a beautiful piece of artwork.I was a bit concerned of how it would translate as a tattoo (since there is a lot of small detail in there) but Leah did an amazing job.
ReplyDeleteAlso there is no red there, just black and white. The red hues you see on the pictures are Nicks battered skin :P He wanted no colour since he wanted it exactly like the artwork.
Very nice tattoo.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteSuper Thanks to everybody !! :)
ReplyDeleteYour wife has got mad talent - awesome!
ReplyDeleteCheers Brent, she is a very talented individual indeed. Although I am a bit worried that you chose to comment here instead of my tactics articles :P
ReplyDeleteI forgot to comment before- but LOVELY work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Loquacious, I will pass your compliments to my special lady.
