And I present you today the second part of my Assault Squad. I actually finished these guys a few days ago but I couldn't be bothered taking any pics. They were done pretty much like the last batch with the only difference being that I pre-highlighted them with white before I applied the red paint. The guy on the right looks a bit off since, if you remember, he was my test model. Ah, well, I hope nobody noticed him in the crowd. More pictures after the jump and don't forget to let me know what you think.
Looking great, love your work.
ReplyDeletevery realistic, with all the armor damage and the well made bases.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Do you mind sharing with us how you apply your decals so smoothly?
ReplyDeleteCheers guys! Glad you like them! I use Mr. Mark Softer on the decals. You can buy it on almost every hobby store, in Greece they call it βελτιωτικό χαλκομανίας. There are many brands out there but this one has worked for me and it has lasted me for ages!
ReplyDeleteill try it for my bretonians, seems that they need it with 5 decals per knight!.
ReplyDeleteThey look immense man
ReplyDeletePaint jobs great!
Nice job dude- the weathering looks great. It's there, but not overdone.
ReplyDeleteI also dig your bases- great theme.
Keep it up!!!
great job my friend artistically, even if I am not into it!
ReplyDeletethat's some spectacular work and just stunning photography!
ReplyDeleteThose are great! Love the wear and tear on the armor. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteDamn good work sir.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for their kind words!
ReplyDeleteExcellent looking squad, though yes, the guy on the right's helmet is noticably more yellow than the others but otherwise fits just fine. Not sure if it's my monitor or not but a couple of the other guy's helmets actually look a little greenish.
ReplyDeleteNice job on the bases too.
As always looking great. The battle damage is just right, not too little not too much.
ReplyDeleteGreat Job!
I just want to say that I love your page, and currently follow it, and was wondering if you could follow mine? Gotta spread the love around if we are every going to bring down the filthy xenos of the galaxy.
ReplyDeleteOver all great job on the colors on your BA Assault marines. I did notice a small mound lines on the first couple pictures on the mag for the pistol. Again Great work.
