Greater Daemon of Slaanesh

I painted this guy (gal?) a while back but for some reason I didn't post about it. I wouldn't say I enjoyed the painting process that much. Painting a large resin model has it's problems, mainly putting everything together in the end. I painted it almost the same way as I did with my Slaaneshi Daemon Prince. One more Daemon Prince left and then I will focus on Tzeentch. More pictures after the jump.

Slaaneshi Daemon Prince Painted

Hey peeps!
Yes, I know, long time no post and all that jazz. I 've been pretty busy mind you, have a few projects on the go at the moment. However I haven't managed to produce a single completely finished miniature until now. Well, I proudly present this guy. Check more glamour shots after the jump.

More Flesh Hounds Painted

Keeping up with the Daemon craze, here is another five Flesh Hounds I finished. Pretty similar to the ones I painted last week since they are from the same unit and I wanted to keep the colour scheme consistent.

Pink Horrors of Tzeentch Painted

Continuing with my Chaos Daemons reimagining, the next unit is a bunch of Pink Horrors. I did paint a few of them way back in 2011 but I never thought I'd use them on the table top. I am glad I did thought because now I believe that the models are awesome and a joy to paint and it also gives me the excuse of painting something really pink.

Flesh Hounds of Khorne Painted

Hey guys! I am not going to even try to insult you by giving excuses why I haven't posted for so long. I just didn't warhammer (is it a verb now?) much these last few months so I didn't have anything to write about. I've been mainly meeting with my mates on weekends, playing board games (mainly Fantasy Flight games) and that's a pretty good pastime if you ask me. Also, after the initial excitement of 6th ed., my interest kinda died down for reasons I don't care to explain right now.

What Does Your Army Say About You?

I was walking to my local net cafe today , thinking about the short story of Dark Angels i read in the Imperial Armor 5 book, siege of Vraks. When it struck me that, the army that i play and love (Dark Angels) actualy in a way represents me. So i found some time to make a compilation of what each army may say about its owner, from a fluff point of view!

Chaos Daemons: Possible alternative for Chaos fanatics? Or not..?

Some time in 2009, I realized I had quite many Daemon Princes, so I thought "buying a couple of Greater Daemons and some lesser Daemons should get me a Daemon army". And so, I bought a Balrog (Bloodthirster), a Keeper of Secrets and some Plague Bearers. I was aiming for a "Daemonzilla" list, comprising of 2 Greater Daemons, 3 squads of 7 plague bearers and 3 Nurgle Daemon Princes. The plan was that the T6 monstrosities would withstand a lot of shooting and survive, making a counter-attack right on enemy armour, thus disabling the enemy's big guns.

In the beginning, I was hearing that Daemons are a very strong army. After seeing every "zilla" list played by others getting crushed to a pulp, I reconsidered. After my 5 first battles (with a newer list, more on that later), I reconsidered even more..!
